Today, Syukriah and Aaron bring them for breakfast at clementi. After that, the japanese have to go to their pre- departure workshop for the cruise which starts at 9am till 4pm. Inside the workshop, they will be brief on what to do and where to meet for their Marine Experiential Learning Camp which is also known as the M.E.L camp. Inside the workshop also, they were given some tips on how to handle love relationship, peer pressure and sex education. It is a very interesting workshop as it actually tell us how to handle our emotions. After the workshop, the Japanese students have to fill up a feedback form. Xinsi, Halim and me (iffah) help them to spell the words in English and explain to them what it means so that they can understand the workshop better.

After the workshop, it was the free and easy time whereby we have to bring the Japanese students to shop for souveniers before they onboard the cruise the next following days. Other than the Oshima Japanese students, there are also three Japanese students from Tokyo Universtiy of Technology who joined us. We bring them to have their lunch at one of the famous chicken rice shop in chinatown. Chinatown in well-known for its cheap souveniers and its rich in chinese cultural aspects.

At 8.45am, we have to get ready for the Japanese students to meet our dearest director, Mr Roland Tan.Before the meeting, we have to bring the Japanese to our foodcourt 2 to have their breakfast. All of them ate rice which they bought from the economical mix rice shop. After they had their breakfast, we brought them up to the seven floor to meet with the director. During the meeting, I (iffah) have to introduce our japanese friends to the director. I was so nervous that I forget one of the lecturers name. Anyway, after the meeting with the director, we bring them to the simulator to experience how to navigate the ships from colliding with the other ships. After the simulator, we bring them to our workshop whereby the marine engineering students learn how to fixed marine engines.

At 10 am, the bus came and bring us to the Universal Studios Singapore!!!! Inside the Universal studios, we were splited into two groups while the lecturers were on their own to shop and tour around in Universal studios. We all have fun at the Universal studios. I had ride the Battlestar Galactica 3 times while the rest also have ride the Battlestar Galactica. We also took pictures with woody woodpecker, puss in boots of shrek and also Madagascar characters. Overall, we have the best time in Universal studios.

After Universal studios, we all have dinner at Jurong point and return to the quarters after the long exciting tour in Universal Studios.

We just can't seem to wait for the Japanese to arrive at the Terminal 3 airport. I think that we are more excited than the Japanese and can't wait to welcome them to our dearest country, Singapore. The flight number that the Japanese people are taking is SQ655. Clarie, Xinsi and Syukriah were staring at the screen and waited patiently for the screen to show that SQ655 has landed while Stanley, Aaron, Shone, Halim and me (iffah) sat down on the chairs and was wondering what will be the new Japanese girl, Hikari will look like

At 3.43, the screen showed that SQ655 has landed. All of us quickly rush to the glass door to welcome the Japanese arrival. After the long wait, the 10 japanese people from national college of maritime technology oshima finally appeared. All of us queue straight lines to shake hands with the Japanese students and lecturers to welcome them to Singapore.

Then, we brought them to the quarters whereby they will be staying during their visit to Singapore. The 10 Japanese will be splited into 3 apartments, whereby one is for the lecturers, while the other two is for girls students and boys students.

Below are the names of the Japanese that came to Singapore:

After unpacking their bags, Clarie, Xinsi, Shone, Stanley, Halim, Syukriah and Aaron bring them for a tour around our school, Singapore Polytechnic while Iffah has to follow Captain Raj to take some goodie bags for the Japanese students.

After the tour, we bring the japanese students to one of the river valley restaurant which is call spice. Over there, we ordered different kind of foods which includes roti prata, mee pattaya and yellow rice with chicken. The japanese students also tried Milo Dinosaur, Bandung, Black Spider and White Spider as their drinks.

For those who are wondering what is White Spider and Black Spider. It is actually your normal coca-cola and sprite drinks but there is an additional ice-cream on top of the drinks which makes the drinks special. While we are eating, Masaru wanted to tried the sambal belacan ( malay chilli) which is very spicy. After Masaru tried the sambal belacan, his face turn red and he gobbled down the water and say "ooooo.. dangerous".

After eating, all of us decided to bring them to the Singapore river to take some pictures there and then return to the quarters.
