About Us
This trip is a collaboration between Singapore Maritime Academy & Oshima College whereby students from the 2nd year cohort (SMA), comprising of 4 DNS and 4 DMR students, get the chance to experience an overseas learning journey onboard a ship named Oshima Maru and get to interact with students at the Oshima College. The selected Japanese students will also experience our modern integrated simulator centre whereby they get to experience ship's simulation on a 360 degree basis. In addition, they get the chance to join most of the SMA students for the Marine Experiential Learning Camp (MEL). On this trip, they will go onboard a passenger ship to learn about the ship's operation.
