On Thursday, 7th June 2017, we decided to visit the yearly Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar as one of our bonding activities after the exams! We had a short hiatus from bonding activities and meet ups for 2 weeks due to Mid Semester Tests. However, we quickly got back into our meet ups right when the term break started! Because when school reopens, that is when the real work and planning will start, hence we gotta make use of the time from now till then to keep the spirit of the team high and sporting.
7 out of 8 of us could make it for this week's bazaar adventure. We met up at Paya Lebar Square, in front of McDonald's, at about 6.30pm going 7pm.
All smiles before heading to the bazaar! |
On the way to the bazaar, we were all very excited because we heard that this year, many new and unique food and drinks have been introduced to the bazaar, and we were busily discussing what was the one thing that each of us wanted to get in particular from the bazaar. There were a variety of interesting edibles named: Dragon's Breath, Handsome Burger (Rainbow Bagel), Small Fried Soft Shell Crab, Thai Milk Tea / Nutella Soft Serve Ice Cream.. etc. Long story short, we can't wait to eat!
Lights filled the streets, hunger filled our tummies |
We managed a we-fie amidst the crowd! |
A very generous portion of Kway Teow Goreng for $5! |

My second favourite photo from the night would be this! We wanted to take a photo with the lights on the road. We managed to do this in between the red traffic light for the cars to stop, allowing the pedestrians to cross. We don't recommend this but it was still fun and thrilling to have a group we-fie again!
