Day 6, Our Final Night

11 October 2013

0600: Roll Call
0700: Breakfast
0800: Leaving Imabari
1500: Arrival at Oshima
1500-1530: Cleaning Up
1800: Dinner
1900-2200: Free Time

Today is our last day in Oshima, before returning back to Singapore.

Similar as yesterday, we all woke up early, as we would leave Imabari, back to Oshima. It was the same journey, but this time, we have found ourselves being able to operate the ship, with lesser help. It would turn out to be an experience which many of our friends would not be able to experience so early into our 3 years of studies in SMA.

Upon arrival at Oshima, we would do some cleaning up, before we would have our briefing and being presented with a Certificate of Participation on board Oshima-maru, by its Captain. It was a moment where we would look back at the past 5 days that we have spent together, and making new friends with the Japanese students, learning new things, which we would probably not be able to learn in the classroom.

As night falls, we would walk around the neighbourhood of the school, as we get some snacks as we talk thru the night while packing up.
