The day has finally come for us to go to Oshima! We all met at Changi Airport by 8pm, where we would first take a flight to Haneda Airport, Tokyo. We then took a domestic flight to Iwakuni Airport. We left Singapore at 2215, on 3rd October and reached Iwakuni Airport at 1030, on 4th October.

Despite the long flight, we have not reached our destination. While waiting to go on our domestic flight to Iwakuni Airport. To Iwakuni we go!
Finally we have reached Iwakuni Airport, despite our exhaustion. We
were warmly welcomed by Dr. Yoriko Ishida and our Japanese friends.

We are ready for the bus journey to Oshima! During the bus ride, we introduced ourselves, and learnt each others names, age and hobbies. It was fun despite the language barrier at first.

We have finally reached Oshima College and made our way to our accommodation for the week, Oshima Maru.

After lunch, it was time for the ship tour and orientation. We were spilt into four groups, with each group having a mix of both Oshima and SMA students.

It was now time for some off campus activities where we played the traditional game, Chapteh and also Ultimate Frisbee.
