Day 6

こんにちは or Konnichiwa ( ๑॔˃̶◡ ˂̶๑॓)
It was our last day sailing on Oshima Maru~ How time flies! We woke up for the the daily morning exercise and had breakfast @0615! We had some rest time and had to report to our designated areas by 0715! We would be leaving Marugame and heading back to Oshima by 0800. We had our usual watch keeping till lunch time~

Our last time reporting for morning exercise :(

Lunch time~

After lunch, it would be our last watch keeping :( Our training period has come to an end. It was really a  great opportunity to be given the chance to learn from the crew and students of Oshima NMCT. We have learnt so much and hope to bring back the knowledge and experience to share with our peers back in Singapore!

To Oshima, we go!

"We are going to miss this place!"

We have finally reached Oshima! Wow, our 4 days of sailing to the different states have ended :( It was now time for cleaning and the closing ceremony. We each received a certificate for the 4 days training cruise we have attended. The certificates were given out by the Captain of Oshima Maru!

After the closing ceremony, we took some photos with the Japanese students~ We then proceed to their dormitory for dinner~ After dinner, we went to the nearby supermarket for snacks and came back to Oshima Maru for a shower and free time! We cannot believe it would be our last night here in Oshima :( We certainly did not want to leave our Japanese friends behind~

The end of the training cruise~

It was an emotional end but the time spent on Oshima maru was impactful and beneficial, not forgetting the companionship from our dear Japanese friends. Thank you so much for being such great hosts and friends :)

Beautiful sunset~
Til we meet again in the future Japan~
