Day 2, Singapore

A brand new day awaits~ It was time for some fun! We fetched them from their hotel and made our way to school to meet our Director, and have a tour around SMA. The students had a chance to visit the engine workshop and the stimulator.

After the school tour, it was time to make our way to USS~

Otw to USS~

It was fun taking the different rides that everyone enjoyed! Especially the trilling roller coaster rides~ We sure had so much fun the whole day. We had lunch at the Malaysian street food, and most of them tried the authentic dishes like Penang Laksa, Fried Char Kway Teow and Chicken Rice!
Waiting for our turn!

It was a good day indeed! We headed to Seah Im Foodcourt at Habourfront for dinner.

After dinner, we headed back to the hotel as tomorrow would be a long day too~

Till the next day!

Day 1 in Singapore

The long awaited arrival has come!
The Oshima students are finally here in Singapore~

After a whole long morning of plane rides, they have reached Singapore safely at 3.30pm on 10th March 2016. We were so excited to welcome them to our sunny island!

After waiting for the bus to their hotel, we headed to Mr Naung's place by public transport. The students were shocked by the amount of people taking the train during peak hour~

Finally it was time for the BBQ to start~ The Oshima students were able to try out Singaporean food they have not tasted before! They had satay, oath-otah, sambal stingray and a lot of other good food. Some of them had trouble adjusting to the spiciness, but it was a good experience as they found the food really oishi! :)

After the long day, we sent them back to their hotel. We would be heading to Universal Studious Singapore and sight-seeing in Sentosa the next day~

Til next time

It would not be fun without my group mates who went with me. Thank you for co-operating with each other and making the trip a successful one. We learnt a lot about each other and also how beneficial the trip was for all of us. We will all miss Oshima greatly!

Day 7, Visit to Miyajima

Rise and shine! It was our last day here in Oshima~ One week really flew past just like that. We would be heading back to Singapore today! Our flight to Tokyo, Haneda Airport from Iwakuni Aiport would be @1830. We would reach Haneda Airport @2030,  have dinner followed by some free time til our flight to Singapore @2350~

Goodbye Oshima!
Thank you to the crew of Oshima Maru, who were always patient and taught us well~

We woke up early for some cleaning and packing! It would be the last time we'd have breakfast at the dormitory! After coming back from breakfast, it was time to bid farewell to crew and Oshima Maru itself. We had such a great time here. We would then take a bus to Miyajima, where would visit the shrine and have some free time there!

We have reached, Miyajima~

They were dears everywhere, and we were able to pet them~

We were quite scared!
How cute~

We then walked around, visiting the different areas. We were so excited for the street food and the famous oysters! It was very fun and it was very packed with tourists all around the world~

The start!
